I will be using this platform to showcase most of my creative progress.
Furthermore, the site will feature a collection of design articles, videos, etc, that I come across the web.
Also don't forget to check out my academic projects.
06.09.09source: www.afrigadget.com FLAP (Flexible Light And Power) indeed was given the right name. This bag was originally designed and developed by a Kenyan inventor Dominic Wanjihia, award winner at the Maker Africa Faire in Accra 2009. To improve its mechanism, various known key players such as Timbuk2 Po!Tech, etc have invested in pushing domincs invention to a higher level. The bag has a very promosing future. "By placing the solar panel in direct sunlight for six hours to charge battery…(www.afrigadget.com)", The FLAP bag can be used as a power supply to basically charge all your small gadgets while travelling. Not only is it used to charge, but the bag has also an LED light and a USB connector. Click here to see some of the scenarios where the bag comes to the rescue ;-)
It has been quite a while since I posted something on my space.
I've been quite busy with projects on and off, thanking God for keeping me busy and providing for us with our daily bread. At the moment, a good friend of Mine aka K-Nel
and I are working on both our clothing lines. I have currently finished the Anglohili Collection designs which will be promoted during K-Nel's Kenyawood Tour at the Carnivore, Nairobi, from the 17th of August 2009. The yellow on Black design is for men's wear and the white on red is ladies' wear. We are both quite anxcious to see the reaction. I'll keep you posted on what is going on and of course when 'The Republic' Collection is out, I'll also post it here. So as you can see, I'm quite busy and if you feel like keeping me more busy, why don't you hit me up with your project and we can see how to take it from there.

This is really not a HOWTO, because it is a result of a spontaneous act. After a whole afternoon of shopping at the famous IKEA…*phew*…my wife and I drove back home and started unpacking the stuff for our new apartment. You know what I mean... unpack…assemble…unpack…assemble
and after, getting rid of all the unnecessary packaging. I was just about to throw the packaging for the cheap, but yet fancy IKEA NOT floor lamp *hehe*…but then an idea hit me, "why not recycle and design a carton laptop support?
I've always wanted to buy an original Aluminium support similar to the inclinepro,
but the price has always been an issue and I've always asked myself, is it really relevant? Why not upgrade your RAM instead?
Which I did… *hehe*. To cut the story short, once thought and done. It didn't take me more than half an hour and my home-made carton
laptop support was good to go! See the results here for yourself…
